Portable Physical Therapy Parallel Bars
Mobile Therapy wherever you need it, even to patient’s bedside
Deliver comprehensive physical therapy anywhere you need it.
Americans are missing vital physical therapy (PT) increasing their chances of compound health issues. The problem is lack of access to safe rehabilitation treatment for patients with degenerative illnesses and those recovering from surgery. Isolation restrictions have only exacerbated the problem.
In response, Ware•ologie is collaborating with the VHA Innovators Network (iNet), Challenge America, the LTU Centrepolis Accelerator, Product Ready, and Global Tech Ventures to develop a mobile rehab device. The team has embarked on a 12 month journey to develop, pilot, test, and commercialize Portable PT Parallel Bars to increase access, improve patient recovery, and reduce healthcare costs. The prototype device will be tested this summer at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia beginning July 21st.
Portable PT Parallel Bars empower occupational (OT) and physical therapists (PT) with a vital therapy device. For the first time, safely get people out of bed and on the path to recovery. With the portable parallel bar solution, you can administer therapy directly to your patient anywhere. The patent-pending system can be setup and taken down in minutes. Fully extended, the 5′ device enables patients to receive vital therapy, even bedside. The system folds into a one convenient carrying case on wheels for easy transportation and storage.
Therapists are now equipped to help patients practice standing, balancing, gait training, and upper extremity PT with confidence in the comfort of their home, nursing site, or in-patient rehab room. OTs and PTs will enjoy this lightweight, durable system.
Portable PT Parallel Bars are perfect for senior living, in- and out- patient rehabilitation, and traveling therapists for in-home mobile rehab.
